Plans have been announced by Blue Energy, a UK-based
Renewable Energy Investment Company firm to build a Photovoltaic (PV) solar power
plant in the West African nation, Ghana. The plant when completed will be the
biggest in Africa.
The project is tagged the “Nzema Project” and is set to gulp
$400 million and will provide electricity to more than 100,000 homes. The
construction is set to commence within 12 months.
I think we Nigerians should watch very closely.
