Prime Minister David Cameron said that the royal couple would make “wonderful parents” and that the people around the world will be celebrating with them tonight.
US President, Barack Obama and wife, Michelle who met the royal couple during a state visit to Britain last year, sent their congratulations on the welcome news in a statement by The white House. More congratulatory messages have been trickling in.
In a related development, St. James Palace said that “The Duchess of Cambridge is continuing to feel better following her admission to hospital with acute “morning sickness” related to her pregnancy “on Tuesday.
The statement also said that Kate and her husband, Prince William are immensely grateful for the good wishes they have received.
