Alhaji Bukar Mandara, a former presidential aspirant the National Mass Movement of Nigeria (NMMN), died on Sunday in Maiduguri.
Mandara was the Chairman and presidential aspirant of NMM, one of the political parties, deregistered by INEC.Alhaji Abubakar Ibn-Garbai the Shehu of Borno announced the death of Mandara in a statement in Maiduguri.
Ibn-Garbai added that the deceased died at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH), where he was on admission for undisclosed ailment.He said that the remains of Mandara would be buried on Monday in Maiduguri.Mandara was also the Zanna Dujima, one of the traditional title holders in Borno.
He was an accomplished businessman with business interest in many sectors of the economy.
