One spectator got a little too close to the action during practice for this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix. A dove dared to play 'chicken' with Brazilian GP2 driver Felipe Nasr at one of the fastest sections of the Monte Carlo circuit.
The bird stared down Nasr, competing in Formula One's feeder series on Thursday, before deciding to leap out of the way at the eleventh hour.
The power of Nasr's car flipped the bird upside down before it managed to regain its composure and miraculously fly away from the scene of the hair-raising incident. The nature of Monte Carlo allows spectators to get as close to the action as any other venue permits on the grand prix calendar.
But I reckon this bird will think twice before it tries to get the perfect vantage point of this weekend's action.
