Nigeria: Multiple Explosions Rock Daura

Barely two days after the declaration of emergency rule in Borno, Yobe, Adamawa states by President Goodluck Jonathan, suspected terrorists yesterday launched bomb attacks on targets in Daura municipal area of Katsina State.

Sources disclosed that two police stations , a branch of First Bank in the town and Daura Central Prison were among the places bombed. It was gathered that the blast started around 10pm yesterday and lasted for over two hours.

Eyewitnesses described a scene of unimaginable carnage.at the Boston Marathon today after two explosions tore into crowds gathered at the race finishing line. Survivors said there were three loud explosions, about five seconds apart, two of them appeared to go off in a section of the crowd outside the Fairmont Hotel near the Marathon's finish line and a third at the JFK Library.

Police said that are they still finding 'secondary devices,' and pleading with anyone still in the area to leave at once. The New York Post reported that as many as 12 people have been killed but Aljazeera reports just two dead. Eyewitness Dave Weigel said: 'I saw people's legs blown off. Horrific. Two explosions. Runners were coming in and saw unspeakable horror.'

It is not certain who the perpetrators are! Sad occurrence
