Few months ago, the world was shocked with the news of the gruesome lynching of four promising undergraduates of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT), Rivers State, Nigeria.
The four who have come to be known as Aluu 4- Ugonna Ibuzor, Tekena Elkanah, Llyod Michael and Chidiaka Biringa- were stripped naked, beaten while being paraded round the village, Aluu, and finally set ablaze which led to their deaths.
Today thursday, the suspected culprits were arraigned before a court in Port Harcourt and have been remanded in Prison custody as the presiding Magistrate said the court would await advice from the State director of Prosecution [DPP].
The case has been adjourned to February 28, 2013 for advice from the DPP
