FC Arsenal, others sanctioned by UEFA


The UEFA Club Financial Control Body (CFCB) adjudicatory chamber has met in Nyon, Switzerland, and has taken its first decisions in the cases of nine clubs that had been referred to it by the CFCB chief investigator, due to the presence of significant overdue payables balances.
The decisions of the CFCB adjudicatory chamber are as follows:

Málaga CF (ESP): The club is excluded from participating in the next UEFA club competition for which it would otherwise qualify in the next four seasons (i.e. 2013/14, 2014/15, 2015/16, 2016/17). In addition, Málaga will be excluded from a subsequent UEFA competition for which it would otherwise qualify (in the next four seasons) if it does not prove, by 31 March 2013, that it has no overdue payables towards football clubs or towards employees and/or social/tax authorities, in accordance with the UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations.
Málaga has also been fined €300,000. The prize money withheld on 11 September 2012 (as a conservatory measure) will be released.
HNK Hajduk Split (CRO): The club is excluded from participating in the next UEFA club competition for which it would otherwise qualify in the next three seasons (i.e. 2013/14, 2014/15, 2015/16), unless it proves that, by 31 March 2013, it has paid the overdue amounts previously established by the CFCB investigatory chamber; that it has paid any amounts deferred in writing that fall due before 31 March 2013; and that it has settled any payables as of 31 December 2012 which will become due before 31 March 2013, in line with Articles 49 and 50 of the Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations.

Hajduk Split has also been fined €80,000, half of which is suspended and will only become due if the club is not able to prove, by 31 March 2013, that it has paid its overdues in accordance with the UEFA regulations. The prize money withheld on 11 September 2012 (as a conservatory measure) will be released.
NK Osijek (CRO): The club is excluded from participating in the next UEFA club competition for which it would otherwise qualify in the next three seasons (i.e. 2013/14, 2014/15, 2015/16), unless it proves that, by 31 March 2013, it has paid the overdue amounts previously established by the CFCB investigatory chamber; that it has paid any amounts deferred in writing that fall due before 31 March 2013; and that it has settled any payables as of 31 December 2012 which will become due before 31 March 2013, in line with Articles 49 and 50 of the Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations.
Osijek has also been fined €100,000. The prize money withheld on 11 September 2012 (as a conservatory measure) will be released.
FC Rapid Bucureşti (ROU): The club is excluded from participating in the next UEFA club competition for which it would otherwise qualify in the next three seasons (i.e. 2013/14, 2014/15, 2015/16), unless it is able to prove that, by 31 March 2013, it has paid the overdue amounts previously established by the CFCB investigatory chamber; that it has paid any amounts deferred in writing that fall due before 31 March 2013; and that it has settled any payables as of 31 December 2012 which will become due before 31 March 2013, in line with Articles 49 and 50 of the Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations.
Rapid Bucureşti has also been fined €100,000. The prize money withheld on 11 September 2012 (as a conservatory measure) will be released.
FC Dinamo Bucureşti (ROU): The club is excluded from participating in the next UEFA club competition for which it would otherwise qualify in the next three seasons (i.e. 2013/14, 2014/15, 2015/16), unless it is able to prove that, by 31 March 2013, it has paid the overdue amounts previously established by the CFCB investigatory chamber; that it has paid any amounts deferred in writing that fall due before 31 March 2013; and that it has settled any payables as of 31 December 2012 which will become due before 31 March 2013, in line with Articles 49 and 50 of the Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations.
Dinamo Bucureşti has also been fined €100,000. The prize money withheld on 11 September 2012 (as a conservatory measure) will be released.
FK Partizan (SRB): The club is excluded from participating in the next UEFA club competition for which it would otherwise qualify in the next three seasons (i.e. 2013/14, 2014/15, 2015/16), unless it is able to prove that, by 31 March 2013, it has paid the overdue amounts previously established by the CFCB investigatory chamber; that it has paid any amounts deferred in writing that fall due before 31 March 2013; and that it has settled any payables as of 31 December 2012 which will become due before 31 March 2013, in line with Articles 49 and 50 of the Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations.
Partizan has also been fined €100,000. The prize money withheld on 11 September 2012 (as a conservatory measure) will be released.
FK Vojvodina (SRB): The club has been fined €10,000. The prize money withheld on 11 September 2012 (as a conservatory measure) will be released.
FC Arsenal Kyiv (UKR): The club has been fined €75,000. A total of €30,000 of this amount is suspended and will only become due if the club is not able to prove, by 31 March 2013, that it has paid its overdues in accordance with the UEFA regulations.
