Vice President, Sambo |
THERE was heavy security, Saturday, as stern-looking
officers searched thousands of guests who came to witness the wedding Fatiha of
Vice President Sambo’s daughters at the Sultan Bello mosque in Kaduna.
The stop and search measure effected on all guests at the
occasion may not be unconnected with the state of insecurity in Kaduna and
other parts of the North.
It was a wedding that residents of the city may
not forget in a hurry, judging by the number of governors, ministers, senators
and other dignitaries from within and outside the country who attended the
event![]() |
