A former member of the House of Representatives and human rights lawyer, Uche Onyeagucha, today lambasted the talking style of the founder of the Niger Delta People’s Volunteer Force, Mujahid Asari-Dokubo.
Onyeagwucha, who was reacting to the claim by Dokubo that amnesty is a fraud and must be discontinued, said “Asari’s position are a bundle of contradictions because he speaks from both sides of his mouth and with due respect I think Asari talks a lot of nonsense”.( I second that)
He also disagreed with his former classmate on his perception on who should be granted amnesty or not “I will say very clearly that his suggestions that it is only when the people are prosecuted that they can be pardoned. What if you can’t arrest the people? What if you can’t locate where they are? What if you are not able to apprehend them and put them on trial?” he asked.
